Today at work during my lunch hour, I was making phone calls regarding my daughter's childcare situation. Because phoned one daycare center after another, it seemed that many place quoted us a higher price compared to an other. I scribbled prices on a piece of paper that I had handy and I continued to give us a call. One of my coworkers overheard me and she or he heard me repeat back the a price. She asked me why I did not apply for daycare assistance for my daughter. I told to her that I can't qualify for almost any assistance, unfortunately.
